Snow Run

Went on a not-so-quick run on the Midland trail today. It was supposed to be about an hour, ended up being an hour and a half.

It had snowed the night before and, while the main trail was fairly well packed, the side trail I ended up on wasn't. It ended up with me running and walking about 2km through snow that varied in depth from 3 inches up to about a foot. Only one other person had been on the trail, with a set of snowshoes, and so every step sunk in quite a few inches. While very exhausting, it was extremely pretty.
